Madelyne “Lynn” M. Gumul

Madelyne ‘Lynn’ M. Gumul, age 79, of Clinton Twp., NJ, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at her daughter Stacy’s home, surrounded by her loving family. 

Lynn was born on April 29, 1946, in Yonkers, NY, to the late Merle and Madelyne (Corridi) Weis. She spent her childhood in New York and later moved to Clinton Twp., NJ in 1980, where she has resided since. 

Her beloved husband, Jan Witod Gumul, passed away in 2009. 

Lynn loved animals, especially dogs. She also took pride in maintaining her home. She loved spending time with her neighbors, The Szela Family, as they frequently played cards on a weekly basis.  

Lynn is survived by her three daughters: Lisa Blake and her husband, John, of Booton, NJ; Stacy Timko and her husband, Steven, of Tewksbury Twp., NJ; Alice Giordano and her partner, Laurie Carter, of Tennessee. Seven grandchildren: Matthew and Patrick Blake, Bryce, Connor, Chloe, Zoe and Lilly Timko. 

In addition to her husband, Lynn is predeceased by one brother, Robert ‘Bob’ Weis. 

Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 18, 2025 from 10am – 11:30am.  Funeral service will follow at 11:30am. All at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main St., Lebanon, NJ. Interment will take place at Union Cemetery in Lebanon, NJ.
