Margaret Elisabeth Neigh

Margaret Elisabeth Neigh, age 91, of Lebanon Twp., NJ passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at home. 

She was born on February 13, 1932 in Morristown, NJ.  She lived in the home that her and her husband built in Califon since the 1950’s. 

She was the daughter of the late Fred and Bertha Lauginger Woletz.

Her beloved husband, Almyer Neigh, passed away in April of 2020 after 63 years of marriage.

Margaret went to Nursing School at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan.  She went on to work as a Registered Nurse at the hospital after graduation.  Later, she worked in Labor and Delivery at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ. 

Margaret loved gardening and taking care of her lawn, especially weed whacking. She loved taking care of her family, especially her husband.

Survivors include three children; Kathryn M. Olver of Budd Lake, NJ, Stephen D. Neigh and his wife Shauna of Cottage Grove, OR and Karen E. Cavaluzzo of Califon, NJ.  Six grandchildren; Heather Rader and her husband Henry, Amanda Hartranft, Taylor Neigh, Courtney Neigh, Kayla Rose Cavaluzzo and Cole Neigh.  One great-granddaughter; Aurora Compton.  She is also survived by one cousin; Irma Schaup of Germany. 

Predeceased in addition to her husband by one son; Tommy Neigh who passed away in 2008.  One sister; Annmarie Franco. 

All services will be private.
