Margaret K. Vercruysse

Margaret K. Vercruysse, age 93, of Clinton Twp., NJ passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021 at Rolling Hills Care Center in Lebanon, NJ.

She was born on February 10, 1928 in Jersey City, NJ.  She resided with her daughter before moving to Rolling Hills Care Center in January.

She was the daughter of the late Patrick J. and B. Kathleen Marshall Murtagh.

Her husband, Fredrick V. Vercruysse, passed away in 2007 after 60 years of marriage.

Margaret worked in the Billing Department for Chilton Medical Center in Pompton Plains, NJ until her retirement in 1993.

She enjoyed traveling with her husband. While they traveled mostly in the United States, Margaret especially loved her trips to Ireland.  She was also an avid reader.  She loved music and singing.

Survivors include her five children; John Vercruysse and his wife Mary of Lawrenceville, NJ, Michael Vercruysse of Hawthorne, NJ, Regan Vercruysse and his wife Barbara of Phelps, NY, Kathleen Fasciano and her husband Patrick of Clinton Twp., NJ and Martin Vercruysse of St. Augustine, FL.  Nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by one sister, Florence Conley of Annapolis, MD.  Numerous nieces and nephews. 

Calling hours will take place on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 2-4pm with funeral service at 4pm.  All at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ.  Interment will be private.
