Margaret 'Maggie' F. Ort

Margaret F. Ort, age 94, of Califon, NJ passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024 at her grandson’s home in Stoneboro, PA.

She was born on June 6, 1929 in Newton, NJ.  She resided in Califon, NJ for most of her life.

She was the daughter of the late William and Mary Mills.  

Her beloved husband, Enos Ort, passed away in 2014.

Memberships include the Califon United Methodist Church where she was very involved at the Top of the Barn.  She was also a member of the Califon Ladies Auxiliary for many years. 

Survivors include one son; Larry W. Ort of Califon, NJ.  Two granddaughters, three grandsons, fourteen great-grandchildren. 

Predeceased in addition to her husband by four sisters and two brothers. 

Visitation will take place on Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 10am – 11am with funeral service at 11am at Califon United Methodist Church, 15 Raritan River Road, Califon, NJ. Interment at Lower Valley Cemetery in Califon, NJ.
