Marilou R. Kiss

Marilou R. Kiss, age 86, of Ortley Beach, NJ passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022 at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ.

She was born on September 20, 1936 in Jersey City, NJ.  She spent most of her life in Cranford, NJ. She has resided in Ortley Beach, NJ since 2019.

She was the daughter of the late Louis and Marion Genzlinger Papp.

She had various jobs over the years including working as an airbrush artist at Picatinny Arsenal in Wharton, NJ, working for Cortina Restaurant in Cranford, NJ and she also worked for ShopRite in Clark, NJ. 

Marilou loved doing puzzles and coloring.   Years ago, she also enjoyed knitting.

Survivors include one daughter; Victoria Kiss and her significant other, David Alito, of Ortley Beach, NJ.  One son; Andrew Kiss and his wife Darlene of Holmdel, NJ.  Three grandchildren; Tyler, Trevor and Heidi.  She is also survived by her brother-in-law; Frank Romanelli of Edison, NJ.  Three nieces; Nancy, Cathy and Lauren.

Predeceased by her beloved granddaughter; Heather Kiss who passed away in 2003.  One sister; Janice Romanelli.

Calling hours will take place on Monday, December 12, 2022 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ.  Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 10am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 2 White Bridge Road, Pittstown, NJ.  Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Cokesbury, NJ.
