Marilyn J. Edleston

Marilyn J. Edleston, age 83, of Clinton Twp., NJ, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025, at home, with her loving family by her side. 

Marilyn was born on July 19, 1942, in Summit, NJ, to the late Edward and Olive (Enstis) Danks. She grew up in Westfield, NJ. She has resided in Clinton Twp., NJ for the past 43 years. 

Marilyn was the beloved wife of William R. Edleston. The two shared 43 years of marriage. 

Marilyn worked as an office administrator for William Edleston Law Office in Phillipsburg, NJ. She loved working alongside her husband. 

Marilyn loved taking trips with her loved ones, having travelled all over the world. She loved spending time at the beach, especially Long Beach Island, NJ. 

In addition to her husband, Marilyn is survived by her three loving children: Cindy Barbiche and her husband, Mark, of Vero Beach, FL; Cheri Ciesla and her husband, Robert, of Pattenburg, NJ; and Brad Becker and his wife, Lynn, of Annandale, NJ. Her beloved grandchildren: Shane, Skyler, Kyle, Ethan, Graham, Reid, Alisha and Robert. She is also survived by her three great-grandchildren and her brother, Rick Danks, of Cleveland, OH. 

Marilyn is predeceased by her son, Robert Becker, and her two brothers, Rev. Edward Danks and Howard Danks. 

A celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date. Interment will be private.
