Marion C. Carbonneau, age 91, long time resident of Hunterdon County, NJ passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021 at the Hunterdon Care Center in Flemington, NJ.
She was born on August 11, 1929 in High Bridge, NJ. She resided for many years in High Bridge, Annandale, and Stuart, FL.
She was the daughter of the late Edward and Marion Berbeck Miller.
Marion was a nurse in the US Air Force from 1948 to 1951. She was stationed at Fort Dix Air Force Base for five months during that time.
She later worked as an RN at Raritan Health and Extended Care in Raritan, NJ until her retirement in 1996. Marion thoroughly enjoyed her work. She loved being a nurse.
She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and her many friends in Florida.
Survivors include three sons; Edward F. Carbonneau and his wife Marie of Bloomsbury, NJ, Harold F. Carbonneau and his wife Ellen of Easton, PA and Andrew J. Carbonneau of Tempe, AZ. Two daughters; Patricia C. Laubach and her husband Paul of Annandale, NJ and Carol A. Sautner and her husband Mark of Flemington, NJ. Seven grandchildren; Kimberly Schaffer and her husband Edward, Nathaniel, Nicholas, Amanda, Paul III and his wife Yu, Rachael Hubiak and Bruce and his wife Daniele and five beloved great-grandchildren.
Marion was predeceased by one brother; Edward Allen and one sister; Evelyn Smith.
Calling hours will take place on Sunday, August 1, 2021 from 2-4pm. Funeral service will be Monday, August 2, 2021 at 11am. All at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ. Interment at Fairmount Rural Cemetery in Califon, NJ.
