Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother

Mary T. Caglianone, age 91, of Kingwood Twp., NJ passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Saucon Valley Manor in Hellertown, PA. She was born on January 13, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY. She spent her childhood in Brooklyn and moved to New Jersey in 1964. She was the daughter of the late Semus and Anna Dobolitis Kello. Her beloved husband, John L. Caglianone, passed away in 2004. Mary worked as a Proofer/Typist for Roche. Mary loved cooking, baking, crocheting and gardening. She started all her plants indoors from seeds and loved to watch them grow. She was an avid reader, a passion that she passed onto her children. She loved her cats and she also enjoyed working outside and helping her husband run his business. Years ago, she loved swimming, roller skating and she also loved bowling. She was in the local Senior Bowling League. She also was an accomplished tap dancer and danced for the USO as a child. She supported her children in 4-H and FFA from her kitchen window, never really stepping foot in the barn. Most of all, she adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved spending time with them. Survivors include five children; Frank Caglianone and his wife Barbara of Bangor, PA, Susan Gravelle of Pittstown, NJ, Vincent Caglianone of Portland, OR, James Caglianone and his wife Debbie of Elm, NJ and Joan Hunt and her husband Scott of Campbell Hall, NY. Nine grandchildren; Diana Sabin and her husband Eric, James Caglianone and his wife Rachel,Christopher Gravelle and his wife Kelly, Kyle Gravelle and his wife Samantha, Jessica Hewlett and her husband Bruce, KC Canich and her husband Ian, Alyssa Caglianone, Julia Hunt and Brock Hunt. Seven great-grandchildren; Rosalee, Bruce, Remi, Teagan, Charlette, Cora and John. Predeceased by three sisters; Betty, Agnes and Pat. Entombment will take place on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 10:00am at St. Bernard’s Mausoleum, 551 Rt. 28, Bridgewater, NJ. Arrangements are under the direction of Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home in Lebanon.
