Mary Frances Matos, age 71, of High Bridge, NJ passed away on June 17, 2023 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Twp., NJ.
She was born on April 24, 1952 in New York, NY. She resided in High Bridge, NJ for the past 4 years, moving from Tamarac, FL.
She was the daughter of the late John B. and Rita Duggam Brandl.
Mary was a graduate from College of St. Elizabeth in Morristown, NJ with her Bachelor of Science degree as well as her Master of Science degree in management. She also graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ with her Paralegal degree.
She was currently employed as a Litigation Supervisor for Universal Property & Casualty in St. Lauderdale, FL. Mary was passionate about her job and loved her work.
Mary was an avid reader. She enjoyed drinking her coffee with Baileys and watching horror movies. She also loved heavy metal bands and going to concerts. She was a self-proclaimed ‘Jersey Girl’ and loved all things animal print. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and loved watching her grandchildren’s sporting events.
Survivors include her three children; Alfred Tompkins of Newport, CA, Stefany Colon and her husband Nicholas of High Bridge, NJ and Alex Matos and his wife Gina of Santa Rosa, CA. Eleven grandchildren; Felix, Lucia, Rhaia, Brianna, Devyn, Taylor, Jaxon, Elsa, Terell, Deric and Aubrey.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
