Maureen M. McGonagle

Maureen McGonagle, age 77, of Lebanon Twp., NJ passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at home.

She was born on January 3, 1943 in Brooklyn, NY.  She grew up in Westfield, NJ and resided in Lebanon Twp., NJ for the past 45 years.

She was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Cotter Conway.

Her husband, Joseph F. McGonagle, passed away in 1990 after 21 years of marriage.  

She worked as a Computer Salesperson for NCR in Basking Ridge, NJ until her retirement.

Maureen was very involved with the Lebanon Twp. PTA when her children were growing up.  She enjoyed going to the beach and spending time with her family.  She also enjoyed mowing her lawn.  Most of all, she adored her grandson, who was the light of her life.

Survivors include two children; Sharon McGonagle and her husband Louis Lelii of Whitehouse Station, NJ and Keith McGonagle of Califon, NJ.  One grandson; Mason Joseph Lelii.  She is also survived by one sister; Denise Ryan and her husband James of Westfield, NJ.  Brother-in-law; William McSweeney of Clinton, NJ.  Several nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased in addition to her husband by two siblings; Jane McSweeney and Richard Conway.

All services will be private.
