Michael Wayne Whitesell

Michael Wayne Whitesell, age 60, of Upstate New York, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021.

He was born on November 16, 1960, in Raritan Twp., NJ.  He resided in Upstate New York for over 20 years, moving from Bridgewater, NJ.

He was the son of the late James and Vera Kepenach Whitesell.

He worked as a Technician for Richard’s Fuel Oil/Pool Company in Somerville for 21 years   when he was living in Bridgewater. 

Michael was an avid outdoorsman.  He loved cooking, fishing, going to concerts, and hanging out with his friends; he was a very social ‘people person’. 

Memberships include volunteer firefighter, past member of the Bradley Gardens Fire Company. 

Survivors include two brothers; James A. Whitesell and his wife Amy of GA and David Whitesell and his wife Cindy of Bridgewater, NJ.  Three sisters; Charlene M. Brookman and her husband John of Las Vegas, NV, Amy S. Blanchard and her husband Eric of FL and Wendy J. Hazard and her husband Jeff of Easton, PA. Four nephews, two nieces and one great-nephew.

Memorial service to celebrate Michael and his mother Vera’s life will take place on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 11am at Bradley Gardens Reformed Church, 124 Old York Road, Bridgewater, NJ.  Interment will be private.
