Michele A. Pennucci, age 68, of Lebanon Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 15, 2025, at home, surrounded by her loving family.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Michele knew how to make all those close to her feel special. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world. To her family,
Michele was their constant source of strength, guidance, and unconditional love, a true matriarch.
Spending time with Michele meant walking into a home alive with flavor, laughter, and warmth—a new recipe on the stove, a cake fresh from the oven, and heartfelt conversation that made time stand still. She had a rare gift for turning even the simplest moment into a celebration. From backyard gatherings with her late husband, John, to organizing town-wide events, Michele had a natural flair for bringing people together. During her children’s school years, she volunteered tirelessly, serving on PTAs and booster clubs, and helping to bring beloved traditions to life, like Halloween Madness.
Her grandchildren will forever treasure the memories they shared with her—sleepovers, pool parties, crafts, and spontaneous outings. With Michele and John, no experience was ever too big or too small; whether traveling, dining at the finest restaurants, or exploring something new, she made sure every moment with her family sparkled with excitement.
Even her beloved dog Max was a part of her vibrant life, joining her for walks through the gorge and watching as she conjured up endless house projects for John to complete.
Michele’s strength, warmth, and love will continue to live on in the family she so deeply cherished. She is survived by her sons, Michael (Danielle) and Matthew; her daughter, Julianna (Chris); her grandchildren Gabriella, Noah, Elizabeth, Angelo, Parker, Raffaela, and Anthony; and her faithful dog Max.
