Pasquale ‘Pat’ A. Gesualdo, age 96, of Lebanon Twp., NJ, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Pasquale was born in Brooklyn, NY, on September 18, 1929, to the late Francisco and Theresa (Bonisea) Gesualdo. Pat grew up in New York, and later moved to Califon, NJ, where he has resided for the past 60 years.
Pasquale was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy ‘Betty’ Elizabeth Suydam. Pasquale and Dorothy celebrated 48 years of marriage before Dorothy’s passing in 2006.
Pasquale served honorably in the U.S. Air Force as an aviation engineer, stationed in Panama, after which he worked for Neumann’s Sheet Metal of Plainfield, NJ. He retired from Eqan’s Machinery in Somerville, NJ, where he worked as foreman of the sheet metal department.
Pasquale served as president of the Flight Club of Washington, NJ, in addition to being a member of GRCA. He loved building model airplanes as well as bowling.
Pasquale is survived, and will be greatly missed, by his son, John Gesualdo of Califon, NJ; step-son, Rev. Bruce DiMarla and his wife, Judith, of Johnstown, PA; and step-daughter, Dr. Constance Kross of North Brunswick, NJ. He is also survived, and much loved, by granddaughters, Cristiana, Chaylah, Suzanne, Beth, and Charity, as well as great-grandchildren: John, Ezekiel, Madelyn, Elizabeth, Elisha, and Charlotte.
In addition to his parents and beloved wife, he was predeceased by his two children, Francisco ‘Murphy’ Gesualdo and Patricia Ann Gesualdo, as well as his son-in-law, Peter Kross.
Services will be private under the direction of Rev. Bruce DiMaria of the Church of the Nazarene.
