Patricia Sinkus Obituary

Patricia (Pat) Elizabeth Sinkus, 78, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at her home in Clinton Township, NJ. She was born on November 14, 1941 in New York, NY.

Patricia was married to Joseph F. Sinkus on December 28, 1963.

Patricia held various secretarial jobs over the years, working for Merck, AT&T and Schering-Plough. She enjoyed going to Wind Creek and Mohegan Sun casinos with her husband, vacationing in Myrtle Beach, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Helen Verchik Courtney, and her two brothers, Jimmy Courtney and Frankie Courtney.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her three sons; Joseph II and his partner Karen of Milford, NJ, Christopher and his wife Megan of West Amwell, NJ and Matthew ‘Jake’ and his wife Amy of Titusville, NJ. She is also survived by her four adoring grandchildren;Trevor, Shannon, Aileen and Jacob.

Private interment will take place at St. Patrick Calvary Cemetery in Pottsville, PA. Arrangements are being handled by Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home in Lebanon, NJ and Lord-Bixler Funeral Home in Pottsville, PA.

Memorials can be made in Patricia’s name to Hunterdon Hospice, 215 Route 31 South, Flemington, NJ 08822.
