Paul L. Batson

Paul L. Batson, age 56, of Hampton, NJ passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on December 6, 1967 in Raritan Twp., NJ.  He resided in Hunterdon County for most of his life, living for the past 26 years in Hampton.  He also resided in Califon, NJ and Whitehouse, NJ. 

He was the son of Joyce Miller of SC and the late Ronald Batson. 

Paul was the husband of Leann Shedlosky Batson, celebrating 23 years of marriage. 

He spent his career working as a mechanic.  He worked for Champion Tire in Ringoes, NJ up until January of 2023. 

Paul loved NASCAR, gardening and camping. He also loved music and especially enjoyed playing the guitar.  Years ago, he enjoyed surfing, mainly when he lived in Hawaii for a few short years. 

Survivors in addition to his loving wife and his mother include three children; Adam Batson and his significant other Maria Ratsimor of Hampton, NJ, Lynze Beavers and her significant other Steve Knight of Dunellen, NJ and Ericka Bunting and her husband CJ of Nazareth, PA.  Four grandsons; Eddie, Hunter, Fisher and Jace.  He is also survived by his three cats that he adored. 

Calling hours will take place on Monday, November 25, 2024 from 3pm – 6pm with funeral service at 6pm at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ.  Interment will be private.
