Penny Linda Banks, age 19, of High Bridge, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ.
Penny was born on May 10, 2006, in Brandon, FL, to Matthew Banks and Alyssa Coen. She grew up in Florida and has lived in High Bridge, NJ for the past three and a half years with her father, Matthew, stepmother, Doreen Jablonski, and sister, Kaylee Banks.
Penny graduated from Voorhees High School in Glen Gardner, NJ in 2024, and attended Penn State Harrisburg in Middletown, PA as a Hospitality Management major. Penny’s career goal was to one day open her own bakery.
Penny was a huge fan of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. She was very artistic and loved to draw and crochet. She enjoyed baking, and recently, loved gaming.
In addition to her loving father, stepmother and mother, Penny is survived by her sister, Kaylee. She is also survived by her paternal grandparents, Marcia and Jeff Banks of Valrico, FL. Her paternal uncles, David Banks of NC and Scott Banks and his wife, Dr. Tiff, of MD. Her paternal cousin, Mel Banks. Her two maternal aunts, Beth Remillet and her husband, Mike, of FL and Emily Collins of TN. Her maternal cousins, Greyson and Hailey Remillet. She is also survived by her maternal half-sisters, Raine and Luna Wisniewski of FL. Additionally, she is survived by her step grandmother, Tammy Coen.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 12pm, at the Mountain View Chalet, 154 NJ-173, Asbury, NJ. Interment will be private.
