Philip J. D’Ambrosio, age 82, of Lebanon Borough, NJ passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at home.
He was born on November 29, 1939 in the Bronx, NY. He resided in Fanwood, NJ for over 50 years before moving to Lebanon Borough six years ago.
He was the son of the late Philip J. and Pauline (Freeman) D’Ambrosio.
He was the husband of Nancy E. Silverberg D’Ambrosio.
Philip was a US Army veteran, serving during Vietnam.
Philip had a vast career as an Engineer, working for Western Union International, Honeywell and Networks Security.
Memberships include the Fanwood Fire Department where he was a member for over 50 years. He was also a past volunteer EMT with the Fanwood Rescue Squad.
Philip was an avid outdoorsman. He loved skiing, bike riding, boating and scuba diving. He was also a certified scuba instructor. He was always very active and loved animals.
Survivors in addition to his loving wife include two sons; James of Hillsborough, NJ and Anthony of Mays Landing, NJ. Four grandchildren; Danielle, Samantha, Nicholas and Brayden. One brother; William. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by one sister; Melissa.
All services will be private.
