Phyllis B. Stahnke

Phyllis B. Stahnke, age 70, of Clinton Twp., NJ passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at home.

She was born on January 16, 1951 in Newark, NJ.  She resided in Clinton Twp., NJ for 34 years, moving from Dunellen, NJ.

She was the daughter of the late Irving and Rose Grant (nee Mitnick).

Her husband, Joseph F. Stahnke, passed away in October 2020 after 47 years of marriage.

She was also predeceased by a brother; Bruce Grant, in 1998.  

Phyllis retired from working over 40 years as an Administrator at Lincoln Technical Institute in Union, NJ.

Phyllis enjoyed reading and going to the Amish Country.  She loved going on vacation and especially enjoyed Myrtle Beach.  She loved spending time with family and friends. 

Survivors include one brother; Martin Grant and his wife Jody of Monroe Twp., NJ.  Niece; Robyn Kratz and her husband Ryan and nephew; Russell Grant and his wife Stefanie.  Two great-nieces; Paige and Julia.

Graveside service will take place on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 12:30pm at Brigdier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home in Lebanon, NJ.
