Priscilla Louise Grigas

Priscilla Louise Grigas, age 84, of Morristown, NJ passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at home.

She was born on January 21, 1939 in New Brunswick, NJ.  She had resided in multiple locations in Morris County after living in Lebanon, NJ.

She was the daughter of the late Leonard and Ella Redd Benning.

Her beloved husband, John Edward Grigas, passed away in 1995 after 25 years of marriage.

Priscilla was a Registered Nurse and worked for Honeywell Corporation in Morristown, NJ for 30 years until her retirement.

Priscilla attended St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Morristown, NJ for many years. 

She was passionate about politics and enjoyed serving her community.  She was on the Clinton Township Council when she lived in Lebanon and at one point she also served on the Morristown Environmental Committee.  She was very knowledgeable in politics and current events.  Priscilla was also a big animal lover and leaves behind her beloved dog, cat, and bird. 

She enjoyed traveling, entertaining and cooking.  She also loved decorating her home. She also loved artwork and was a big supporter of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  

Survivors include many beloved friends.

Interment will privately take place at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA.
