Ralph N. Nataline, age 62, of Albrightsville, PA passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital - Carbon Campus in Lehighton, PA.
He was born on December 23, 1959 in Orange, NJ. He spent his childhood in West Orange and moved to Pennsylvania 27 years ago.
He was the son of the late Nazarine and Mary (Mastermarino) Nataline.
Ralph was a very devout Catholic. He was passionate about Christmas and would always tell everyone ‘Santa is coming!”. He loved the holidays and would look forward to Christmas every year, even in the middle of summer.
Ralph loved many things in life including a great plate of spaghetti, a good meatball, sausage and a Coke-a-cola. He also loved sports. His favorite team was the New York Giants until he moved to PA making him a Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan.
Ralph was an extraordinary basketball player. As a child, he would never miss a basket. He also was a great swimmer and an amazing bowler.
He also adored music and loved to dance. When ‘Saturday Night Fever’ came out, he would frequently be found dancing like John Travolta. Among his favorite movies were ‘March of the Wooden Soldiers’ which he enjoyed watching with his family.
Ralph loved his late brother-in-law as they would lovingly fight over the same chair whenever they would get together.
He will be remembered for many things including his wonderful generosity, his love for dogs and his appreciation for a pair of comfy slippers.
Survivors include his sister; Rosemarie Platt of Clinton, NJ. Niece; Danielle-Mari Samouhos and her husband Vincent of Franklin Twp., NJ. Nephew; Tyler Jake Platt of Clinton, NJ. He is also survived by many cousins and his best friend with whom he lived with for nearly 30 years; Gerald Larsh.
Predeceased in addition to his parents by his brother-in-law; Clifford Platt who passed away in 2018.
Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 10am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ.
Arrangements are under the direction of Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home in Lebanon, NJ.
