Richard Guenther

Richard ‘Rick’ Guenther, age 72, of Union, NJ, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset in Somerville, NJ. 

He was born on March 28, 1953 in Newark, NJ to the late Arthur and Joan (Lewandowski) Guenther. He was a lifelong resident of Union, NJ.  

Rick was a graduate from Kean University in Union, NJ, where he earned his bachelors in sociology. He worked as a truck driver for Panera Bread out of Woodbridge, NJ. 

Rick enjoyed playing tennis. He also loved collecting DVDs, CDs, and vinyl records. 

Rick is survived by his brother, Arthur Joseph GuentherJr. of Hillsborough, NJ. 

All services will be private.
