Ricky Back

Ricky Back, age 77, of Washington, NJ passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at home. 
He was born on April 15, 1947 in Morristown, NJ.  He spent his childhood in Califon, NJ and was a 1964 North Hunterdon High School graduate. He lived in Washington, NJ since 1994.
He was the son of the late Amos and Ruth Tolson Back.
Ricky was the husband of Dayle Kansky Back, celebrating 39 years of marriage this past May.
He worked as a stone mason for various companies throughout his career & most recently was a crossing guard for Hampton Elementary School.

Ricky loved spending time at home. He enjoyed cutting the grass and keeping the property emaculate. He was an avid Mets Giants & NASCAR fan and Dale Earnhardt was his most loved driver of all time.  Years ago, he was involved coaching his daughter’s softball team.
Survivors in addition to his loving wife include his children; Kasey Back and her fiancé Dustin Heckman of Wind Gap, PA.  Ricky Back Jr., Lora DiPietro, and Michael Back.  He is also survived by a sister Wanda 'Renie' Remm, a brother-in-law, Glenn Kansky & many nieces & nephews.

He is predeceased by ten siblings; Vernon Godsey, Juanita Bailey, Alberta Hildebrandt, Lillie Mae Back, James Back, Alma Jean  ‘Jeanie’ Stull,  Beatrice Hochwater, Carmen Nuener, Woodrow Back & Maryann Burnham.
All services will be private.
