Sandra J. Callen, age 77, of Clinton Twp., NJ, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, April 19, 2026.
Sandra was born on October 6, 1948 in Morristown, NJ to the late Donald and Dorthea Would. She spent her childhood in Harding Twp., NJ , lived in Madison, NJ for many years and resided in Clinton Twp., NJ since 1986.
She was the beloved wife of Bruce J. Callen. Married in 1980, they celebrated 46 years of marriage.
Sandra worked as the manager of Clinton Bagel Co. in Clinton, NJ, for over 20 years. She also ran her own catering company, Party Helpers.
Sandra was a mother to everyone. She adored kids, cooking, and crafts. She was an excellent event planner, and she loved going on cruises and traveling to Florida every year. She also loved spending time gardening.
In addition to her loving husband, Sandra is survived by her six children: Kelly Brennan and her husband, Tim Wilkie, of Califon, NJ; Kent Havell of Colorado; Patrick Callen of Florida; Chris Callen of Annandale, NJ; Tucker Callen of Annandale, NJ; and Cory Callen of Annandale, NJ. Her three step-children: Lori Diones of Colorado; Kathy Keller and her husband, Dennis, of Virginia; and Scott Callen and his wife, Sara, of Hilton Head, SC. Her grandchildren: Peter, Parker, Kenny, Nicholas, Aubrey, Lily, Joey, Hannah, Gina, Garrett, Matthew, Sloan, Sadie and Sawyer. Her sister, Deidre Would of Stockton, NJ.
Sandra is predeceased by her sisters, Patricia and Karen.
Sandy sprinkled love and light to everyone she came in contact with. Her super powers were her ability to make her family, friends and even strangers feel welcome, warm, safe and accepted. If you needed a shoulder to cry on, a meal, a hug, Sandy was your girl. Not only would she listen, she acted on it. She had a selfless, magical way of taking outstanding care of those she loved and lifting up those in need. Every interaction with Sandy carried meaning - she loved fiercely and loyally.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 11am - 2pm, followed by a memorial service welcome for all to attend at 2pm, at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main St., Lebanon, NJ.
