Scott Matthew Donnenberg

Scott Matthew Donnenberg, age 49, of Clinton Twp., NJ passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at home.

He was born on November 1, 1973 in Livingston, NJ.  He spent his childhood in Parsippany, NJ.  He resided in Clinton Twp., NJ for the past five years, moving from Glen Gardner, NJ.

He was the son of Michelle Lew Donnenberg of Somerset, NJ and the late Albert Donnenberg.

Scott was the husband of Kimberly Ann Hoffman Donnenberg, celebrating 29 years of marriage.

He was a proud US Marine Corps Veteran.  He loved being a Marine.

Scott spent the bulk of his career as a business owner in the Environmental Health & Safety field.

For many years, he was a volunteer EMT and Firefighter for various towns in New Jersey.  He was also a 9/11 first responder. 

Survivors in addition to his loving wife include two children; Zachary Donnenberg and his wife Lynn of Byram, NJ and Jessica Donnenberg of Clinton Twp., NJ.  He is also survived by one sister; Dr. Robyn Ferrante and her husband Dr. Christopher Ferrante of Asbury, NJ. Niece; Amanda Ferrante and nephew; Andrew Ferrante. 

Calling hours will take place on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 11am to 1pm with Memorial Service at 1pm at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ.  Interment will be private.

Memorials can be made to the 9/11 Memorial, 180 Greenwich Street, New York, NY 10007.
