Scott Lee Mayo, 64, of Far Hills, New Jersey, passed away on August 15, 2020.
Scott was born in Birmingham Alabama, to Robert and Gay Mayo on August 23, 1955. He graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School in Mt. Lebanon, PA and attended West Virginia University.
Scott worked as an automotive technician and senior engineer at BMW for over 25 years. He is recognized as a legend in his profession, a true master of the trade. As an avid cyclist and naturalist, he found peace being surrounded by nature and riding his bicycle. He was always learning and willing to share the knowledge.
Scott was preceded in death by his mother Gay, and is lovingly remembered and survived by his two sons, Scott (Lee Chian) and Sean, his father Robert, sister Lynn, brother Mark (Laura), and nephews Ethan and Aaron.
Visiting hours with family and friends will be held on Friday, August 21, 2020 from 6pm to 8pm at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main St, Lebanon, NJ 08833.
