Stephen M. Domovich, age 97, of Clinton Twp., NJ passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at home.
He was born on December 17, 1924 in Alexandria, PA. He resided in his home in Clinton Twp. since 1952.
He was the son of the late Andrew and Katherine Prokop Domovich.
Steve was a US Army Veteran, serving in Europe during World War 2, participating in the battles and campaigns of Normandy (D-Day), Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes, and Central Europe.
Upon his military service completion, he attended East Stroudsburg University, where he met the love of his life, Ramona. After he graduated with his B.S. in Health and Physical Education, he went on to earn his master’s degree in Personnel and Guidance from Rutgers University.
His loving wife, Ramona Severance Domovich, passed away in 2014 after 64 years of marriage.
Steve was the Administrator of Mountain View Youth Correctional Facility in Annandale, NJ until his retirement in 1991.
He was an active member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Clinton, NJ. Steve was also a long-time member of the Lions Club. Additionally, he and Ramona volunteered for many years with Meals on Wheels.
Steve enjoyed playing golf. He also enjoyed traveling the world with his adoring wife, Ramona.
Survivors include five nieces and nephews; Barbara Arnold and her husband Dean of Lititz, PA, Kathryn Lightner and her husband Tom of Petersburg, PA, Andy Domovich and his wife Linda of Hummelstown, PA, Steve Despot and his wife Cheryl of Altoona, PA and David Despot of Altoona, PA. He is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as many relatives from Ramona’s extended family.
Predeceased in addition to his loving wife by one brother; Andrew Domovich of Petersburg, PA and one sister; Helen Despot, of Altoona, PA.

Calling hours will take place on Friday, July 8, 2022 from 6-8pm at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ. Graveside service will be Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11am at Hickory Grove Cemetery, 229 Miller Road, Waverly, PA.
Additionally, a celebration of Steve's life will be held at the Kingdom Hall in Clinton on July 16, 2022 at 2pm. Attendance in person will require a mask, or you may join via zoom.
