Thomas Rudolph Peck

Thomas Rudolph Peck, age 44, of Clinton Twp., NJ passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Twp., NJ. 

He was born on April 10, 1979 in Somerville, NJ.  He was a lifelong resident of Clinton Twp., NJ.

He was the son of Spencer and Elizabeth Renart Peck of Clinton Twp., NJ.

Tommy graduated from North Hunterdon Regional High School in Annandale, NJ and also Blair Academy in Blairstown, NJ.  He continued his education at Washington College in Chestertown, MD where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies.

He spent his career as an Environmental Field Biologist.

Tommy loved fishing and gardening.  He also enjoyed drumming and was in a local band ‘Slim Pickins’.  He loved animals, especially his dog, ‘Scout’. 

Tommy will always be remembered for being a very loving, gentle, kind and humorous man.  He will dearly be missed by all who knew him. 

Survivors in addition to his loving parents include five siblings; Christopher Peck of Califon, NJ, Matthew Peck and his wife Tracey of Suwanee, GA, Mark Peck of Union Twp., NJ, Jonathan Peck and his wife Pamela of Clinton, NJ and Margaret ‘Missy’ Peck of Woodstock, United Kingdom.  He is also survived by ten beloved nieces and nephews that he adored; Hunter and his wife Meghan, Aidan, Gillianne, Grace, Spencer, William, Jonathan, Robert, Genevieve and Linnea.  Numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins who loved him.

Predeceased by his paternal grandparents; Rudolph and Marie Kopecky and his maternal grandparents; Thomas and Margaret Renart. 

Calling hours will take place on Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 4-8pm at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ.  Funeral Mass will be Friday, July 14, 2023 at 10am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 59 Main Street, High Bridge, NJ.  Interment at Evergreen Cemetery in Clinton, NJ.
