Thomas Granger Wroth

Thomas Granger Wroth, age 88, of Tewksbury Twp., NJ passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on April 30, 1936 in Providence, RI where he also spent his childhood.  He resided in Tewksbury Twp., NJ for 56 years where he previously served on the school board and enjoyed many long-term friendships.  

Tom was the son of the late Lawrence and Barbara Pease Wroth.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 60 years, Elizabeth Cameron Wroth. 

Tom was a graduate of Yale University, class of 1957.  He commuted into Manhattan from Western New Jersey for several decades, working as an Enrolled Agent for a New York City Law Firm. 

Tom enlisted in the active Naval Reserves where he was Lieutenant.  He then enlisted in the Army National Guard, retiring at the rank of Captain. 

Tom enjoyed reading, hiking, listening to music, and spending summertime at the family camp on Lake Champlain at Cedar Beach, VT. 

He leaves a legacy among savvy circles for his proprietary 4-part coffee blend, the full recipe of which is now closely guarded by his family. 

His family cherishes many memories of him singing as a gentle baritone; whether at a campfire or while doing dishes or singing his beloved wife Liz to sleep.

Survivors in addition to his loving wife include three sons; James Alexander Wroth and his wife Tessie of Tucson, AZ, Thomas Huntington Wroth and his wife Teresa of Haw River, NC and Robert Cameron Wroth and his wife Sarah Hogue of Portland, OR.  Eight grandchildren; Esther, James, Hannah, Caleb, Olivia, Max, Ari and Silas.  One brother; Kinvin Wroth and his wife Dee of South Royalton, VT.  He is also survived by his sister-in-laws; Deborah Wroth of Santa Fe, NM and Kelsey Bennett and her husband Jeff of Pittstown, NJ.  Several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by one brother; William Wroth. 

All services will be held privately.

Arrangements are under the direction of Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home in Lebanon, NJ.
