Victoria Farneski

Victoria Farneski, age 89, of Frenchtown, NJ passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on April 2, 1933, in Somerville, NJ. She spent many years in Somerset County before moving to Kingwood.

She was the daughter of the late Emery and Mary Cima Blackford.

Her beloved husband, Benjamin Farneski, passed away in 2010 after 56 years of marriage.

Victoria had many jobs throughout her career including working at the Courier News with her father in her early years. She also had many secretarial positions before working as a Bookkeeper for Union Avenue Pharmacy in Bound Brook, NJ. Later, she worked as a Technical Assistant with her husband.

Memberships include the Master Plumber Women’s Auxiliary League in Manville and South Branch Bible Fellowship in Hillsborough, NJ.

Victoria was passionate about faith, family, and fellowship. She adored her family and enjoyed having family gatherings, parties, and picnics.

Survivors include four children: Benjamin Farneski and his wife Tracey of Pittstown, NJ, Mark Farneski and his wife Denise of Alexandria Twp., NJ, Christine Coburn and her husband Alan of Frenchtown, NJ and Jeff Farneski of Cleona, PA. Seven grandchildren Rebecca, Rachel, Michael, Claudia, Olivia, Kayla and Katie. Five great-grandchildren Eliana, Keller, Liberty,Piper and Daniel. Four sisters; Anna, Mary, Joni, Esther, her husband Miles, brother-in -law Art, and a sister-in-law Arleen.

Predeceased by three siblings: Beatrice, Jeanette and Clark.

Calling hour will take place on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 10am -11am with funeral service at 11am at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ. Interment following at Prospect Hill Cemetery, 69 Capner Street, Flemington, NJ.

Memorials can be made to South Branch Bible Fellowship in Memory of Victoria Farneski, 1321 Orchard Drive, Hillsborough, NJ 08844, to be distributed to the Missionary fund.
