I first met Vince in 1984 when he took care of my late step-father Chris Kelly. Since then, he and his family have become very good friends - both of myself as well as my whole family. Mom was devastated when Dad passed just two weeks shy of his 50th birthday, and Vince and Shirley could not have been more caring and compassionate. Vince later became a member of the Garden State Underwater Recovery Unit of which I was and still am an officer. He and Tara took care of my Mom when she passed five years ago, and our entire family simply can't thank the Scarponi family enough for their help during these two very difficult times. These are wonderful people, whom I would most sincerely recommend, should you require their services.

My husband suffered from dementia and I was told by my insurance company to make arrangements with a funeral home, so that when the time came, I would be ready. I had the names of three funeral places to call and make an appointment. The first one I called was Scarponi Bright Funeral Home in Lebanon, NJ. Tara, the funeral director, came to the door and welcomed me to come in. After talking with her for five minutes, I knew I had found the right place.<br>Tara is a beautiful person inside and out. She answered all my questions, helped put me at ease and gave me strength when I needed it the most. If ever you need a funeral home, do not look any further than Scarponi Bright Funeral Home. I give them a ten star rating because they go above and beyond the call of duty in every respect. <br>The day my husband was laid to rest at the Veteran's cemetery, both Tara and the hearse driver made sure they took care of everything. My wife suffered for months with Metastatic Breast Cancer which had spread to her bones and then her brain. Reluctantly, I spoke in advance to a local funeral home and when she passed, called them. After five phone calls and no response, I got very nervous so looked on Yelp and found Scarponi-Bright. One call to them convinced me that everything more than worked out for the best. Tara Scarponi answered and immediately put me at ease (which we not easy because I had just lost my best friend, wife, partner, and mother to our children. I am not easy to please and you work with a funeral home at a very stressful time, but Tara has been a very calming and steady voice who has been with me every step of the way. We will all need the services of a funeral home at some point in our lives and there is no better place than Scarponi-Bright. I had occasion to use their services recently , as my brother had passed way. The best three words to describe their efforts would be professional , competent and caring. Tara , the funeral director , could not have been more helpful -had it been a member of her own family . In addition , they were rather uniquely , I believe , able to provide live streaming of the viewing which enabled all family members to attend , even though they couldn't do it physically because of virus concerns .
